Romans 16
Now I am commending to you our sister Phoebe, who is a deacon of the church in Cenchreae,
so that you will receive her in the Lord in a manner worthy of the holy ones and help her with whatever she might need from you, for she also has been a benefactor of many, and even of myself as well.
Greet Prisca and Aquila, my fellow workers in Christ Jesus,
who risked their own necks for my life, to whom not only I give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles.
Also, greet the church that is in their house. Greet my beloved Epaenetus, who is the first convert to Christ from the province of Asia.
Greet Mary, who worked very hard for you.
Greet Andronicus and Junia, my fellow Jews and my fellow prisoners, who are prominent among the apostles, and they were in Christ before me.
Greet Ampliatus, my beloved in the Lord.
Greet Urbanus, our fellow worker in Christ, and my beloved Stachys.
Greet Apelles, who is approved in Christ. Greet those who are of the household of Aristobulus.
Greet Herodion, my fellow Jew. Greet those of the household of Narcissus who are in the Lord.
Greet Tryphaena and Tryphosa, who have worked very hard in the Lord. Greet the beloved Persis, who worked very hard in the Lord.
Greet Rufus, who is chosen in the Lord; and his mother—and mine.
Greet Asyncritus, Phlegon, Hermes, Patrobas, Hermas, and the brothers and sisters who are with them.
Greet Philologus and Julia, Nereus and his sister, and Olympas and all the holy ones who are with them.
Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the churches of Christ greet you.
Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, keep on the lookout for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the doctrine that you learned. Stay away from them!
For such people do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own bellies. They deceive the hearts of the unsuspecting with their smooth talk and nice-sounding words.
For news of your obedience has reached everyone, therefore I am rejoicing over you. But I want you to be wise concerning what is good, and innocent concerning what is evil.
The God of peace will crush the Adversary under your feet swiftly. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you all.
Timothy my fellow worker greets you, and so do Lucius, and Jason, and Sosipater, my fellow Jews.
I, Tertius, who wrote this letter, greet you in the Lord.
Gaius, who is my host and the host of the whole church, greets you. Erastus, the city treasurer, greets you, and so does our brother Quartus.
[[The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.]]
Now to him who is able to strengthen you according to my good news and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the sacred secret that was concealed for long ages in the past,
but now has been revealed and made known through the prophetic writings according to the command of the eternal God in order to bring about obedience that is based on trust among all the nations—
to the only wise God be the glory forever through Jesus Christ. Amen.
