Revelation 5
And I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll written on the inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals.
And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a great voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll, and to break its seals?”
And no one in heaven, or on the earth, or under the earth, was able to open the scroll, or to look in it.
And I cried and cried, because no one was found worthy to open the scroll, or to look in it.
And one of the elders said to me, “Stop crying. Look! The Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome, so he can open the scroll and its seven seals.”
And in the middle of the throne area, and of the four living creatures, and in the middle of the elders, I saw a Lamb standing, looking as if it had been slain, having seven horns, and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out to all the earth.
And he went and took the scroll out of the right hand of him who sat on the throne.
And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the 24 elders fell down before the Lamb, each one having a harp and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the holy ones.
And they were singing a new song, saying, “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, for you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God people from every tribe, and language, and people, and nation,
and made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God, and they will reign on the earth.”
And I looked, and I heard a voice of many angels around the throne and the living creatures and the elders, and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands,
saying with a great voice, “The Lamb who has been slain is worthy to receive the power, and riches, and wisdom, and might, and honor, and glory, and blessing.”
And every created thing that is in the heavens, and on the earth, and under the earth, and in the sea, and everything that is in them, I heard saying, “To him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be the blessing, and the honor, and the glory, and the dominion, forever and ever.”
And the four living creatures said, “Amen!” And the elders fell down and worshiped.
